Odd feel and design on underbelly

My ball python has a spot in him where it almost feels like bones are sticking out a bit and the bottom of him has an odd design. He has always had them, just no clue what it is.

Its a birth defect or an old wound and thats where it healed.

It looks more like a birth defect than a wound (scale pattern and color), but if he's eating and moving well it shouldn't affect him at all.

i saw this picture yesterday, and i totally had a dream about your snakes belly button lol! i was holding him and i was feeling his belly like wtf lol.

did you notice the defect when you bought the snake? it def makes him special did you give him a cool name? for a mutation like this, i would be leaning towards names from x-men lol.

Ya when we bought him (or her, no idea actually) it was like that; they said it was probably a birth defect as well.

Actually we named him Coffee lol
