I will probably get flamed for this but you asked for thoughts...I think the vid is dumb personally, and it really urks me when ppl make predator feeding vids with a seemingly sadistic "display" , Especially when the animal being fed will pretty much eat anything. Sorry but I dont feel any reason to cause unneccessary pain or suffering to a feeder item.I show them the same respect as any of my animals.

I used to have a huge silver arowana that we'd feed rodents to. Nothing like that though, he'd suck em down almost immediately. Makes the tank pretty dirty though when they deficate.

You wont get flamed. I agree, it's showing off. Like some dude polishing his car when a hot chick strolls by. I *STILL* want a pet bass!

Thumbs down Re: Bass Eats Rat - Viewer discretion advised

personally i think it's TRASH. the only reason that is posted is for that owner to feel bada$$. same as ppl posting a 15ft+ burm vs. a rabbit. feeding live and taping it is just for show. a real person of the trade whether snakes, or fish in this situation, feed the animal and move on. there is no need to prove that "YOUR THE MAN" by throwing a rat into a tank and filming...say that rat got out and bit the hell outta that owner...he'd be alil upset.
