    Baby BP just ate

When I first got him 2 weeks ago I fed him one of those tiny pinky mice. This past week I fed him a fuzzy mouse. Today he ate an adult f/t mouse.

I was just amazed how much his mouth can open to eat these things. He's just a little guy, but growing up quickly.

Still strikes at me occasionally though! Maybe now that he actually has a noticeable bump he will be full and not pissed off?

It's more likely those are defensive strikes - since he is just a baby and he is probably scared because all he knows is there is this giant (possible) predator that hovers over his cage and moves stuff. That will probably stop once he gets more used to being around you.

Yup. Also, you shouldn't be handling him when he still has a noticeable lump from his food. He needs to digest for a day or two. Don't want your first regurge!

Yeah that does not sound too appealing!

After he ate I just put him back into his tank and gave him a deeper water dish incase he's interested in bathing or what not. I know after I eat too much I'm all about the bathing!
