    Not on most snakes. Just on most boids. Spurs are the last remnants of snakes' ancestral hind legs. These days, evolutionarily speaking, they're not good for much, except one thing - male boas and pythons use them to stroke and stimulate their ladies before copulation. (Some gals take more stimulation than others, of course . . .)
