I really dont understand the hostility here. When did I bash this site? Its a simple question. Many people at first said, yup yellow belly. WHY?

And I DID post a link to the pics on fauna.

Jeepers you are right. I am so sorry. He called me a breeder and I jumped on the bandwagon and said I was the breeder. My sincere apologies.

I did breed balls one time, normals, some 4 years ago. Sorry about that.

    Carole

PS I have an email in to the people that donated this animal to the auction to see what they have to say about it. I feel like an idiot and now I dont even know if the "het for albino" I got is really het either.

Re: How do you tell a Yellowbelly from a Normal?

c'mon...can we NOT nitpick at words?

"I am the breeder in question" implies you are A breeder...not THE breeder of the particular animal in question - as you just clarified.

Carole, I think people piped up because of the accusation of "slamming you" when really, noone was...

Mike, step back a bit please.

I think we can all tone it down a bit and not start another mud slinging thread.

That is exactly why I put this thread up... I didn't want to get screwed.

I certainly hope then that you remove your ad until you're 110% sure of what you're selling, unless you want a reputation that will quickly follow you as "misrepresenting your animals".

Just my 2 cents on that topic.

    Step back from what?

First she said she was the breeder in quesiton. Then she said she got the snake at an auction. I can't point out a discrepancy like that?

Is it not OK for me to voice being upset when a flipper sells a snake as a specific morph, when they don't even take the time to research and identify if the snake even is that morph?

Sorry, nate but I really don't understand... I will politely bow out of the conversation now.

Re: How do you tell a Yellowbelly from a Normal?

I just don't feel it's necessary for you to be so aggressive. No, I did not say you cannot point out faults or inconsistencies...by all means, go for it...but the aggressive, in your face, you are wrong responses are not what this site is here for.

I have no issue with you, or anyone for that matter, telling it like it is. The community needs more of that, HOWEVER, there certainly are better ways to approach a topic without coming off as a virtual bully, so to speak.

I'm seeing more and more posts saying "this is why I don't post here"... This forum is here for people to be ignorant, and educate themselves, and ask questions without feeling like they are going to have someone jump all over them for making a mistake or not being better educated.

If you (or anyone) has any questions, you can PM me (or any other mod/admin)

I am ignorant and new to all this stuff, but for what it is worth I have found everyone to be nothing but helpful
