I thought this would be a fun thread to get everyone excited who's going to the show in White plains, NY. I posted mine below to begin.
If you aren't going well jump in the game for another show, just state at the top of your reply what show and the date it's for.


1) Is this your first time, if it is are you excited?

2) How many times have you been to this show?

3) Do you intend on staying the whole time it's going on? (10am-4pm)

4) Any particular reptiles that you hope to see and take pictures of?

5) Who are you most excited to see for breeders?

This will be my second time, and I am very excited.

3) Do you intend on staying the whole time it's going on? (10am-4pm)

Maybe not the entire show, but pretty close. I hope to be there a little before it opens to grab breakfast.

4) Any particular reptiles that you hope to see and take pictures of?

Um, not anything in particular. But this time I will have a new camera so I will certainly be taking a lot of photos.

5) Who are you most excited to see for breeders?

I am definately excited to talk to Vin Russo, I have been reading his book " The Complete Boa Constrictor" and I love it. I also have questions for him.

6) Who do you wish was going for breeders?

I wish I could meet Mike @ Basically Boas, Gus @ Rio Bravo Reptiles.

7) Have you arranged to pick up any reptiles already from breeders?

Yes, I have a nice little assortment of boas to pick up.

8) Have you arranged or are going to be buying any cages or racks?

And yes , I do have two small racks I am picking up from Rich.

9) Or are you just going with cash with the intent to buy?

A little free spending money but probably not for snakes or other reptiles

10) Are you bringing money that maybe the person you are living with doesn't know you have saved for the show?;-)

Unfortunately I am not going to the White plains, NY, but I am going to try to go to Daytona 09 Expo.

Just once.

I plan on stayin at this one as long as possible.

Any and ALL!

Any I have had the pleasure of chating with online.

NERD, BHB and RDR.

By the bucket loads.

Perhaps.

Not really, that is just one small factor of it yes, but there are many other aspects about going that is just as equally if not more exciting.

~ Not my first time, but pretty excited anyway!

~ Been to the White Plains Expo four times or so - and surprised at how many folks I meet there who I know from elsewhere!

~ Depends on when I get up, when I get my _son_ outta bed, and what else I wind up having going on that day!

4) Any particular reptiles that you hope to see and take pictures of?
~ There's always something there that I never expected - and it's often the coolest thing at the show!

5) Who are you most excited to see for breeders?
~ Joe Compel's always got some amazing animals - that whole aisle seems to be pretty good most times. Also Rodney @ Black Rock Captives - just 'cause he's a pretty cool guy.

6) Who do you wish was going for breeders?
~ When I first scrolled through the vendor list, I was very excited to see N.E.R.D. - but I've never seen Kevin's booth at the show.

7) Have you arranged to pick up any reptiles already from breeders?
~ Nope. (T_T)

8) Have you arranged or are going to be buying any cages or racks?
~ Y'know . . . I really ought to get in touch with Rich about a section or two of CB-70 rack . . .

Nah, nothing planned. I'm trying to be picky about getting anything new but we'll see what happens.

Nope, got enough space for one or two more little ones so I'm in pretty good shape right now.
