Re: How do you tell a Yellowbelly from a Normal?

This isnt badmouthing? Not too bad but still didnt ask for it. Oh well...

"So now we have a questionable YB and questionable Abbott's Okeetees. With only the information on the link you posted, I would be very hesitant to buy anything from that breeder."

Can someone tell me what other morphs have patternless bellies?

    Thanks

As for the abbotts. I got the male from Ben Seigel and the female (who no one on here mentioned) from Lee himself. The babies come out spectacular.

I breed on a very small scale and dont appreciate the bad mouthing going on in here.

I shall take a few more pictures of the supposed yellow belly and post them to the same place if anyone wants to take a look at them. Maybe I got taken too.

First, let me correct you. In this case with the yellow belly you are NOT the "breeder in question." You are a FLIPPER.

Simma down now. Perhaps you should take the time to learn a little more about the snakes you are trying to "FLIP". If you are selling a snake as a yellow belly just because it has "a patternless belly," then the slamming and bad mouthing is certainly warranted.

I don't see "bad mouthing" going on either.

I'm not sure why you say no one mentioned the mother corn snake. I'm the only one who mentioned the corn snakes at all, and I mentioned both the mother, that I think looks like an Abbott's, and the father, that I think does not look like an Abbott's.

I also said I would not buy anything from you WITH ONLY THE INFORMATION IN THE LINK POSTED. That's not bad mouthing, that's just common sense. I bet you wouldn't buy animals with only a few pictures and no other information as well. But I deliberately left the door wide open to the possibility that we just don't know enough... maybe the photo of the father is just not a good one at showing his colors, etc.

Well, we cross posted but I'll address these specific points.

As I tried to clarify in the previous post, this was not a slam, just a caution to the buyer to proceed with caution, to find out more. If I'd wanted to slam you, I'd have said something more like:

"That's not a YB, and those aren't Abbott's Okeetees. Don't ever buy anything from the person!"

Lots of morphs have patternless bellies. Normal BPs can have patternless bellies as well.

Re: How do you tell a Yellowbelly from a Normal?

I see no bad mouthing here, or Slamming.

I do see people trying to put there input into the OP's question. We answered what we felt was the answer.

We did not answer with opinions but FACTS. That in FACT does NOT look like a yellow belly.

That is not "slamming" or "badmouthing".

Gotta Dr nearby? Have him give you a RX for a chill pill.

that doesnt look like a patternless belly to me it looks like the pattern comes all the way down to the belly. even with the 2 new belly shots you have taken. those 2 new pics dont look like a yellow belly at all. the belly should look like what ladyohh posted and that animal does not look like that at all.

Can I ask why so many people piped up at first and said it was a yellow belly?
