Yeah, I see what you mean.... I just looked at the NERD yellowbelly spider and saw that there IS some pattern on the belly... I guess I'm kind of at a loss here. As a general rule of thumb a yellow belly has a clean white belly. I guess exceptions can and probably do happen, but in my experience they have always been clean and patternless. Perhaps the spider influence makes a difference? On the other hand, and please forgive me for a moment while I play devils advocate here, Kevin has been known to post photos of snakes with descriptions of what he THINKS they are and not necessarily what they have been PROVEN to be... Does anyone know if that snake has been PROVEN to be a yellowbelly?
