    How long are you soaking for?

    I would soak for about 45min-an hour.. Put the snake in a tub with a top, put the tub in the aquarium over the heat pad to keep the water from getting to cold and THAN take the snake out, use a cloth and hold the snake with the cloth, don't squeeze or anything but put some resistance/pressure on the cloth and allow the snake to slither through.
    Don't soak like this too much as it can lead to medical issues!
