best tircks ive hurd of are as follows.... the flour thing, place plastic bags all round ur room- mostly around the floorboards they like to travel along walls - then sit in the dark and wait, but u gotta be absolutly still u should hear him rustling the bags then u can spot him with a flashlight... check in and around anything that gives off heat- TVs DVDplayers anything like that , if u try the mouse place it along a wall as well ... if u cant find him in ur room check everywhere else ... especialy under/behind the fridge, water heater, theres tons of stroys of snakes missing for like 6 months and majicaly poppin up outta nowhere - recently i seen on the news a 4foot BP was found in an appartment building - the tenants that owned him moved out like 4 months ago... scare the crap outta some old lady n her cat lol ... buut dont give up and never surrender!!

I had one of my Bp get out once and it made it from one end of the house to the other and down the stairs to the basement so anything can happen.

Re: My Bp Escaped
9 times out of 10 they are found in the most rediculous places just feet away from the cage. Before you do anything else I would litterally take the entire room apart.

Re: My Bp Escaped
Check in shoes, in your dresser and near anything that puts off heat (computer, radiators, etc...) As mentioned by SnM Man, under refridgerators are one of the spots where I have seen A LOT of bp's found.
Also, I would tell your mom. It will be a lot worse if she finds him by sticking her foot in a shoe that he is hiding in.

if you put a mouse out put it in something the snake would want to stay in like perhaps a hide with a touch of heat

Re: My Bp Escaped
The dresser doesn't have to be open for your bp to find a way in. He could have gone down to the floor, under the dresser, then up behind the drawers... Take everything out of every drawer, and look under it too... Check your closet too. The one time I had an escape, I found her 12 hours later curled up in a backpack in my closet...
