    pastel yellowbelly?

Can pastels have a patternless belly, or does that indicate pastel yellowbelly? I just got a pastel and was surprised to find it has a patternless belly. I have worked with pastels before and have never noticed a patternless belly, I have not worked with yellowbellies yet. Here's a pic.

I'm no expert but that does not look like a yellow belly. I have been wrong before.....

BTW, pardon the ugly wallpaper in the background, I haven't gotten around to remodeling this room yet since I bought this place. LOL

    Re: pastel yellowbelly?

Both pastels that I have bought and all that i have produced have clear bellies. Also the yellowbelly pastel combo is a very noticable snake, dont think most of them could be mistaken for a straight pastel. The yellowbelly and pastel mesh quite well together. So I would say it is just a straight pastel from what i can see in the picture.

    Hope that helps

That is a very pretty Pastel but it is not a Pastel Yellow Belly. This is a Pastel Yellow Belly.

    I hope this helps.

Albey, I had just found a link to your website from an old thread on this forum. Very helpful, thanks. Those pastel yellowbellies you produced are beautiful.

Guess I never paid much attention to bellies until now. I haven't had a pastel since 04. Thanks!
