I'm a newbie, so with a baby ball, we have had no problems with suction cups. The more experienced owners with larger snakes might experience problems with suction cups coming unstuck. It's all a learning experience and I've already determined that I've spent probably $150 on crap that either doesn't work or is overkill. It's been fun doing it though!
