Hello, it was time for her to be fed, and this was my first time...let me know if yall see something that stands out...


and please dont mind the music, it was not on purpose, the tv was playing next to me

She could probably eat two mice of that size. Also, you might want to put down some newspaper or something on the half of the tank in which you're feeding, since you don't want her to get a mouthful of bedding. Just lay down the paper, put the mouse on it, and let her go get it.

Otherwise, lookin' good!

Once she's feeding well, you may want to consider switching her to frozen/thawed prey because they are less likely to harbor parasites (the freezing process kills most if not all), they are sometimes cheaper than live prey, AND it is much more convenient to just grab one out of the fridge than driving all the way to the reptile store.

alright, i will look into that.....The reason i got the smaller mouse, is because i was trying to judge the size i should get on the next trip...When they showed me the selection, they varied from really big to tiny to the size i have.....so ill step up to a larger one next week when its time to feed her again

I did the same thing, got something that was way too small. You'll get the hang of it soon enough.

As far as feeding frozen/thawed vs live, there's been many debates. And I don't have to drive to a reptile store for rats, just any local petstore.
