Re: to much humidity in a tub?
is your substrate dry? sometimes i have that same problem after my bp has either tipped the water bowl over or has gone pee. if the substrates wet, you can just completely change it out and take a towel to wipe up the condensation. Also, is your water bowl on the hot side of the tub? I found out that if you move it to the cold side that it can help lower the humidity in the tub.

the bedding is dry, and the water bowl is at the far cool side, i guess i just need more vents around the water bowl?

You could also use a smaller bowl

Re: to much humidity in a tub?
Just try moving the water bowl around...I can manipulate the humidity based on where I put the water bowl for when they are shedding or for regular humidity.
Punching more holes is a good idea too, and you can always cover them with foil if you find you've punched too many

Re: to much humidity in a tub?
Wow! I have like 12 holes in my tubs and have to spray a lot to keep the humidity up. I can't imagine even getting a reading at all with that many holes. You must live in a shower or something.

Re: to much humidity in a tub?
Do you have another humidity gauge you can use to see what kind of a reading you get with a different one? If all else fails, you might want to try that... maybe yours isn't working anymore...

Re: to much humidity in a tub?
Dang, too bad we cant put our problems together and get it right. I havent used any tubs before, and i set two up to make sure i can get it right first. i cant get mine high enough, im at 43% and 44%. and the 44 is in a tub with no holes or water dish just news paper. the other is set with 14 holes a dish much larger than yours and a hide. This stuff is a mess.
