Custom ball python cages are here!

I've had such a terrible week. I'm very sick and likely going to a specialist tomorrow. Not looking forward to that... I am, however, looking forward to my first Reiki class on Wednesday. Gotta get well enough to go!

Anyway, this is a Christmas present (late) from my dad. I am going to add linoleum tiles to the bottom and one layer around the sides as well. (My skids like to poop on the walls from time to time) I'm so excited! These will be housing them within a week or two, and will be the adult housing as well. I plan to fill them up with tons and tons of stuff, and then as the snakes grow, I'll gradually remove some decorations. I also want to put a running water system in there. Probably something as simple as those pet drinking fountains. I have to figure out how to do this in the safest manner possible. ... *note to self: must post a thread on this topic* The reason for this is that all of my snakes will drink once I change the water, and then basically avoid it until I change it again. I think they will feel more comfortable drinking if the water is moving. It'll be an experiment.

Without further ado, the photos! (sans the linoleum)

I opted for the pegboard backing because I don't like the look of air vents that some people choose to use. Also, should I need to keep more humidity in, I can simply cover the back of more holes.

Snakey model is about the size of a yearling.

Let me know what you guys think! I'm super excited. I'll be laying flexwatt under the linoleum for heating. The dimensions are, I believe, 3 ft long by 1.5 feet tall, and almost 2 feet wide. (Each cage)

Thanks guys. I would send you one, but these two took my dad quite some time. He's still got a 4 footer to make for my black milk snake.
