Do lights stress out BPs?

Animal Plastics offers black lighting I think but I stayed away from it as it'll be a pain when trying to sleep

I would use it in place of a normal flourescent. 12 hours on, 12 hours off. I think it may be a good alternative for viewing the bp's because I assume they can't see that spectrum. I hope someone on here can give us some first hand feedback.
