I've been keeping snakes for 5+ years and reptiles for 7+ years. I am now just slightly confident to start breeding with my knowledge of corn snakes (a good beginning breeder) for the experience. (Alb x Normal so there will be little value worth). I still do not feel I am ready to breed bps, as to me, I feel it's important to get everything else down first and try to make things as perfect as possible everywhere else.

Nice! thats a lot of years of keeping herps! Ive been keeping bp's for a while now, since i was about 9... Then i got an rtb at 13 or 14, then at around 14 i really started getting into the whole reptile thing Ive been keeping reptiles since i was 5, but they werent bp's they were like frogs, and corns... I had some help from my parents at the time though, since i was so small so its been about 6 years i've been keeping bp's and 10 since my first reptile i have a pretty decent sized collection now, consisting of 15 snakes (13 bp's and 2 rtb's) And if you have the time, and space, you should definately giving breeding bp's a shot! Its not all that hard, and looks to be very rewarding in the end! Also, i gently lifted one of the tails slightly and the hemipenes were in the females vent! So if thats not locking up idk what is lol
