it's nice for a lions fan to see roy williams do so great... oh wait.
I would be optimistic if I was a Lions fan...they have a load of picks next year and salary cap money to burn. 0-16 might have been the best thing that could have happened to them this year. Now you can bring in a real GM.
well that's the thing... we've always had 'loads of talent and options' but the top office guys are too inept to make anything happen.
but yeah, i'm excited to see who they can get with their first-rounders.

Lol. No, when Romo was injured they brought in RW. Romo came back to a different team than when he left. Different starting running back, new receiver etc.. It would be hard to integrate him in. Especially since the OC is jason Garrett, and it looks like he hasn't tried a new play since... the first game of the year.
After a training camp under his belt, RW is going to be very dangerous on the 'Boys.

I agree that once he gets acclimated to the system he is going to be much better. Talent doesn't just disappear. My stance on the whole thing is that I feel they vastly overpayed for him....in the trade and in the new contract they gave him. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if T.O. was released this off-season to free up some salary. They have some glaring needs in their secondary. Adam Jones was obviously not the answer.
