I've never eaten mealworms myself but I've got friends who have eaten them a number of times. They're big SciFi convention fans and I guess these are often offered up as a Klingon delicacy. I think I'll pass.
NOT FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, but I've heard they taste like peanuts.
