Bedding
What bedding do you use for your bp? How much of it? Where is the best place to buy it? I'd also like to be able to use it for my boa.
Im using a 3x2 cage for the BP and a 4x2 for the boa. Is 1 24qt bag enough or would I need 2 for both cages?
I know a lot of people use aspen but what about things like reptibark? I'm currently using newspaper in tubs but since I'm switching them into nice custom cages I want to get a nicer substrate.
Thanks!

Re: Bedding
Cypress mulch, with no ferilizers.
Newspaper, printed....or preffered is non printed maybe your local newspaper will give u scraps of unprinted rolls.
Aspen, really common to use.
Do not use Pine, or Cedar...could cause harm to your snake or kill them.
Some people get packing paper from Uhaul or place like that.

Re: Bedding
by far the best substrate is crushed coconut husk... holds humidity really well n looks great.... i think eco earth makes some- comes in a bunch of brands- 1 lil brick will do a 55 gallon tank 1.5'' deep easy.... good tip ive picked up tho is to freeze any substrate u get just in case it picked up some mites from the pet shop

I use eco-earth in my corn cage, the only complaint I have is that the snake can really move it around into big heaps and it can get annoying with water bowls.

The good old Sunday paper, can't beat a buck a week (and I even get cupons with that). Honestly all my racks use newspaper snakes like it.
