This is ridiculous. Lets pay people who are lucky enough to witness and amazing creatue in the wild to attempt to capture it and cage it. I hate this stuff .

How is it any different taking it from the wild than the animals you have in your own homes?
Those were originally taken from the wild just the same. I don't necessarily agree with what they are promoting, but it is for an educational program and facility.

I doubt anyone has the capability of catching large reptiles like that in the first place, if they do it is probably a reptile handling/capturing company that has proper equipment and such. There are various rescues that may participate as they deal with catching and re-locating reptiles all the time.
