Well the factory model came with an L46 350 X 350 but you could order different big block 427 options from the factory. Including theOriginally Posted by nixer

L36 with 390hp
L68 With 400 hp most popular of the big blocks
L71 with 435 Hp
and the L88 with 430 hp
OR the creme' dela Creme'
ZL1 special L88 all aluminum block.
But unless to specified you got the L46 350 CI iron block naturally aspirated engine.
