    Night Temps?

    I know the temps during the day on the warm side should be 90 and 80 on the cool side... but what about night when you dont have a basking lamp on? will the uth be enough?

    They should be the same at night - night drops aren't recommended unless you are priming your animals for breeding.

    I'd suggest getting a UTH (Under Tank Heater) with a thermostat and perhaps even a space heater to keep the room temps up.

    The Uth are fine at night. I would steer away from the heat lamps they tend to dry out the air too much. I used to use them myself. Now i have 2 oil filled radiant heaters in my basement and they keep the room temps about 80 degrees. And my humidity is fine now.

    yeah the room temps only drop 2-4 degrees at night and i do have a uth. i hooked up a humidifier on a timer so it goes of for 10 min every hour... this keeps the humidity aroung 55% becouse i do have a CHE so it does tend to get dry in thier...
