Just how small will a coastal carpet breed??

i really hope this works... i don't know if anyone's gotten red phase striped jaguars before?
don't mind the pics, they suck and don't do the snakes justice, just didn't want to open the cages and disturb them.

    half hour after introductions...

thanks, he probably is a tiger if i had to guess, but i don't have the lineage info necessary to make that claim. color, pattern, and head pattern are all consistent with that morph though.

i haven't weighed him recently... he's small though. i'd say about as big around as a quarter, haha.
the jag is huge... 9.5 feet and over 10lbs.

Very cool...I am sure he is old enough, I know males can go young. I have a female tiger looks similar to that and she is about 5 feet long. I can't wait for her to get up to breeder size!

I know! He is actually paired up with a female now....but I have seen no courting what so ever. I dont know if it is him or her. That is why I got the tiger a while ago....I am going to throw him in with her when she is old enough. But I really am wanting some pure striped Jungles.

seriously man, i have this amazing pastel yellow jag sib that is the same way... i'm starting to think he is a she... or he is gay, one of the two... i put him with a male last year and he wasn't even really interested in combat (but the other male was) so i have no clue what's up. i guess i need to just probe him.

HAHA! I was in that same boat last year. And so this summer I probed both him and her...and I am 99% sure that I got the sex correct. I have no idea tho. There is no interest between the two....however they are siblings...so maybe they know that and arent down with the whole incest deal.

Ya know I may send ya some bucks if you got any good shed from your males who are breeding or for some sperm plugs. I have tried it before with other animals and have had some luck but I know that you can take the spermplugs from another males shed and rub them on the female and that can sometimes get a male going. Who knows?
