I find it kinda amusing, Timewarner is doing this to save money...when in fact they are shooting themselves in the foot...I imagine there will be a mass exodus among their customers to sattelite providers...I just feel sorry for any of their customers who live in buildings where dishes are not allowed...
And a poster above is correct, many cities have exclusive agreeements with only one cable provider...other than sattelite, there are no options...I went through this with Charter Communications obscene prices and horrible service in California...many other cable companies out there, but Long Beach was Charter only...
I have Directv (not much of a choice for me, as I live in a rural area, with no major cable providers), but I can tell you, if I did have cable, and was looking at the loss of Nickelodeon, I'd consider it an act of war![]()
More than half the shows I watch are on Nickelodeon...can't imagine having that taken away![]()
