    web designing

hey I been asked to ( many time over the years if i can design webpages since i work on computers ( i considered this many times and I know with the planns I hoping for in the future I figure I ask anyone that got the time and does this to give pointers and weer I could possible find some of the freeware type software to get started out with to see if i got the proper patiances for tryingthis out .. being disable and broke does not make it realy easy to go get software plus I want the stuff really simple to start out with until Ican get the basics down packed. so post links or pm them to me to prevent any issues with the mods. this has been an ideal I been kicking around for years . and with the decreas of my legs ( their rebeling to work at times ) I figure I better find somethign i can do while my legs decide to strike on me )..
good example will be the fact at times they buckle and give out refusing to allow me to walk . or I look like a drunk lruching all over the place cause they won't hold me up ..

but I can't expect them to last forever specially with the way I use ot over do crap growing up just to prove I could do it .. ( like bicycling over 20 miles in a day and only had the cast( both legs had a cast on them) from a surgery off 24 hours ( knee to foot type like a broken leg ) oh the fun it was getting yelled at by the nurse, principal, and mom for going to school when I was to be home lol ..but hey I had to go at least the last day lol so what I had been in the cast for 38 days and spent the first 3 weeks more less stuck in a bed /hostipal

You can post links to any software you want, as long as it's not advocating piracy.

My tools of choice for design and development are Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver, both of which you can download a free trial. Beyond that, they are pricey pieces of software.

There are free alternatives, but I don't have much experience with them, so I can't be of much assistance with those suggestions

    Re: web designing

Notepad! Best html editor there is! Seriously though, I tend to use UltraEdit32 for most of my html editing. I was messing around with Dreamweaver a bit when I first started designing my current site being that it had been about ten years since I had last messed with any html. It wasn't too long before I started remembering how things worked and I got tired of it trying to do everything for me and I was back to using a text editor for all things html.
