I have had a small marble size lump on the back of my right thigh for a couple of years. I kept an eye on it to see if it would grow or cause me pain.
Well a couple months ago the area started to become uncomfortable. Mainly when I sit down, and my whole entire leg has become somewhat uncomfortable, especially my joints. The feeling does not hinder me from going about my normal lifestyle and it is not keeping me up at night. My leg just tends to throb a bit.
I went to see a MD and he thinks the lump is lipoma and was not too concerned. He was more concerned about the aches in my right leg. He thinks when I sit I could be pinching a nerve or the lipoma could be interfering with the blood circulation in my leg. Never the less I am going in for a consultation in about a week to schedule a surgery to have the lipoma removed.
I am hoping it is a lipoma and nothing too seriousAnd that he is correct in that it is the reason for the aches in my leg. I am able to walk and run just fine. It is only when I sit do I feel the aches.
It's a shot in the dark but I was curious if anyone else has had a lipoma as the doc said they are fairly common. And if you have, did it cause you any sort of aches? Thanks all!![]()
