he was just simply told that if he didnt wanted to bash the great country that he lives in that he is free to leave. he doesnt owe the goverment any money. he can pack his bags up and try and find a better country to live in. he said that would make him happier and we just want him to be happy

Leaving the country and working elsewhere is often not as easy as just packing up and leaving. One still does have to report taxes back to the US and you will have to attain necessary work permits to work outside. While there are many perks/loopholes created by being allies with several countries throughout the world, like any naturalization process it takes time for things to get done.

That being said I have no idea why this has become a political/bashing thread. There is a large amount of negative energy spewing out of a good majority of these posts... I am staying out of this thread!
