My niece has one from the same breeder that we purchased at the same time. He refused to eat twice so I took the F/T hopper and just slipped it gently under his lip and it somehow caught on to a tooth. When I put him down he wrapped around the mouse and ate it. That one is around the same size as mine.

I'm guessing the young ones will become better eaters as they age.
