Vacuum Sealer Recommendations
I need recommendations for a vacuum sealer. I want to use it for frozen feeders.
Thanks.

Granted, they can cost a bit...but the rodents last so much longer that the sealer pays for itself before long.
Which model do you have?

I use a Foodsaver and love it, I seal all my frozen rodents with it. Mine does canisters as well which is great for keeping greens for my Uro fresher longer.
Plus it's handy for normal food items as well.

You mean you can actually use them for something other than dead mice?

I know, I'm a little crazy like that.

Re: Vacuum Sealer Recommendations
Oh btw I have the FoodSaver V2440, which best I can tell is no longer made. So it was just replaced by a newer model. It was around $140 when I bought it. Worth every penny imho.
I use it for all kinds of things such as my expensive fish foods that are $30 a pound, cricket gutload that I buy in bulk, my Ox Bow chinchilla and guinea pig food I buy in bulk. I even seal up my wife's makeup like certain lip glosses that she only wears in the summer. So to keep it from drying up I seal it and put in the fridge. I also buy those big 5 pound tubes of burger from wally world and cut it up into 1 pound portions and seal those.
There are so many things you can use those sealers on and they really work great too. No more freezer burn, no more meat turning gray while in the freezer. My koi food doesn't go bad over the winter when it's not in use.
