I keep thinking he's dead, because he lays funny but then I end up spooking him and he pops up. I've got to stop checking him every couple minutes.

It's like I've got a emergency T technique that will sudden application in order to save its life.

I usually wait a few days before feeding after a molt, usually on the 4-5 day mark. Once the color comes back is what I start to look for.
