Alright, well, they need, at minimum, two identical hides(one on the hot side[90-94F] and one on the cold side[~80-86F]), a water bowl(duh), and some sort of substrate that will help keep humidity in. Humidity should range approximately 50-70%.

If you want an inexpensive setup, some plastic tubs from Lowes, a cheap water bowl, a Sterilite tub, an uth, a thermostat and a snake.

Now if you're going for aesthetics, that gets a bit more pricey. I'm pretty sure aspen is the bedding of choice around these parts. You can get really nice rock hides from http://www.reptilesupply.com/index.php?cPath=31_35 or from www.lllreptile.com or http://www.bigappleherp.com
