    Okay will do. I no last time i went to Hamburg i wanted a turtle and came home with a ball python lol. I cant wait till saturday.

    Hey

    I got 2 new leopard geckos from the Hamburg show! A mack snow female and a Patternless rainwater male also i have figured out one of my juvnile geckos is a male and the other a possible female. I will start a new thread with photos Thanks

    thats great, sounds like you have a cool colony started. just remember to beef up your females real good. the best you can do. with calcium too. that is my biggest rule of breeding to start out with the best looking, separate bloodlines, and extremely healthy, fat animals. then let them do the rest. till the eggs come anyway!

    Hey thanks for the info. I want to start a small colony this is my first time breeding. Ny female is 54 grams and my male is 48 grams you thibk they are ready i thought of putting the female in with the male this weekend. What do you think. Thanks

    Hey nice leos, how old did you say they were?
    With those weights I would beef them both up a little more before breeding you're basically at the minimum weight they should be and I think your male definately needs some extra weight.

    Well i dont no exactly how old they are i forgot to ask the vendor. I have the female in with the male i am letting them be with each other for a week then seperating them. Thought i would try it even no its not the season, My female is 60 grams but my male is 44-43 he hasnt eaten in a while he just isnt intrested.

    pat, do you keep them all housed together right now? i only ask this because your male might be a little stressed out. maybe thats why his appetite is on the fritz. he see's the work he has cut out for him....
