    Re: pastel x axanthic

I love anything to do with axanthics

It's funny though, I was just arguing with a friend of mine over his want to sell off half his collection (including his potential pewter and bee sires) because he needs the money to fund a pastel x axanthic project lol. I wonder if he read this post and then made up his mind

    Ball Pythons:
1.0 Queenbee; 1.0 Spider; 1.0 Spider Het VPI Axanthic
1.0 Albino Cinny; 1.0 Albino Pin; 1.0 Butter Pastel
    0.1 Het Axanthic; 0.2 Albino; 0.1 Pied
    0.1 Pastave; 0.1 Pastel; 0.1 Butter
    0.1 Super Vanilla Mojave
    Others:
    1.0 Kahl Albino BCI
    1.0 Albino Anaconda Hognose
    Mammals:
    4.0 Kitties, 3.1 Doggos, 0.2 Horses

I've actually seen 08 females go for $3000 (Graziani and Ballroom Pythons South). I would imagine 09s will be in the 2000-2500 range?

Pastel hets are fairly affordable. I have 08 males for $425 and then you could probably find an axanthic female for around $600-800 I'd think (I sold all mine )

    Re: pastel x axanthic

I go both ways....sometimes the silver/white/black looks cool to me and other times I think the intense yellow/orange is cool.

I'm hoping that the Firefly Axanthic and Silver Streak Axanthics will be very cool as adults.

But I'm also hoping that my firefly clown project makes some very nice animals as well.

It would take forever but I think a firefly axanthic clown would be awesome...basically black and white with facial markings similar to a real clown's face paint (black/white).
