Reptile abuse! Boycott all chain pet stores!!!

This is why I am begging everybody not to support chain pet stores such as PetCo. Except for live rats

If you are going to boycott, then you should not buy rats from them.

One small local shop near me is way worse than the local Petco and Petsmart IMO. The animals are in really rough shape and the employees there were not willing to pick up a bp when someone wanted to see it. If they won't pick it up it's hard to take good care of them. I have a corn that I got from a Petco quite a while back and she has done great for me. I look to respected breeders large or small for my animals now.

The thing is most people that are on forums, and actually know what they’re talking about won’t buy from pet stores. But, A LOT of people buy animals on impulse, and they’ll get them from Petco, and Petsmart. Which makes boycotting them unrealistic.

Absolutely, you are so right! It totally disgusts me; I did an entire year of research before getting my girl.
