You need a heat source (flex watt, UTH, CHE, RHP) that is controlled by a thermostat (Johnson, Ranco, Helix, Herpstat). You also need a thermometer and hygrometer to measure the temps and humidity; many people use the Acu-Rite brand as it also measures ambient temps. Remember that temps need to be a gradient of 82F on the cool end and 91-94F on the warm end. Hides are also a must.

If the snake is gravid, you'll need to set up an incubator and that is also run by another thermostat and with a thermometer/hygrometer.

Food is also a necessity!
