Definitely hard back No dust cover though - I always seem to tear those up for some reason. Or end up taking them off and losing them

I am not familiar with your book but it seems you will have many photos and a hard cover would seem in order.

If it was a smaller more pamphlet size book I would say paperback is OK but otherwise go hardcover, dust cover is a nice touch.

Best of luck with your new book!
The size im planning on is a "trade" size, 6x9 inches according to the publisher. Ive made 8.5x11 inch books before as well and they are just too big when its something you may want to carry around or fit in a normal size book case. They are good for displaying images, but you have to be careful with them because they are such a weird, large size for a book.

Thank you guys for all the support!

    Re: Book types?

I generally just throw out the dustcovers after my cats get finished chewing on them.

For a 6x9 sized book I'd go with HC with NO dustcover. Although I actually prefer SC books myself.

I guess that isn't really helpful!
