29 Gallon Vs. 30 Gallon
I'm getting a shelving unit from Ikea to house the two tanks I have for Pandora and Prometheus and I need some advice in order to help me make a decision.
So my question is: would a 29 Gallon tank (meas: L: 30.00 W: 12.00 H: 18.00) or a 30 Gallon (meas: L: 36.00 W: 18.00 H: 12.00) be big enough to house a full grown Ball Python? Or neither?
I know I'm going to get a bunch of people telling me to get a rack system; but until I start breeding in a few years, I prefer to stick to tanks and would appreciate it if nobody got off-topic

The 30 gallon one is better since height doesn't really matter. I think the 30 gallon one should be enough from what I've seen. I'd get a cheap tub though.

i'd go with the 30 gallon because of the floor space.

Am I wrong to assume most tubs don't have the same floor space as tanks?

depends on the tub.the only thing i dont like about tubs is they are usually not tall enough for the bp to raise up and finish its meal smoothly.i know they eat fine in tubs but i bet raising up is more comfortable for them so tanks in my crib.

I have never used a tub, but in my opinion a tank has more floor space unless maybe you get into the really big tubs like the 41quart or whatever. Not to mention you can interact with your snake alot more in a tank, beside the fact

Well, I prefer tanks anyway; which is why until I have several snakes, I don't plan on switching to tubs. I'm just wondering if either one of those will suffice for a fully grown Ball Python

your male should be fine in the 29.the female will most likey be ok in a 30 breeder
