I'm not sure if you are aware, but everytime a snake sheds they tend to "brown out".. I believe this may be what you are seeing because looking at the picture I don't know see anything unusual..

In that photo, unless it is just not coming up clearly, I see nothing wrong..

    Re: BP dermal issue

    scale rot

currently im washing with warm antibacterial soap water 2X daily. after the wash i rinse with warm water and then dry and put some neosporin on it. i am, however, going to start cleaning it with an idodine solution just to give it a little boost. the spots look better already but don't want this to linger.

i also took out her water bowl and im going to start chaing the newsprint and sterilizing the tub more often (like every 3rd day) to keep bateria down.

    Re: BP dermal issue

It just looks to me like a Normals..well, normality Unless the picture doesn't really show well what you're concerned about, I don't see anything wrong.

And be careful with neosporin, I've heard it can get quite messy and you need to make sure you use the right kind (though I can't say much more than that because I've never used it on my snakes)

    Re: BP dermal issue

neosporin has to be plain neosporin without painkiller not PLUS... Neosporin will probably cause a bad shed, but it will at least help the snake heal...
    Thanks!
