    Morph Questions

Just curious, is there any difference between a low white pied and a high white pied when breeding them? Meaning, does a low white have a better chance of producing another low white when breeding, than a high white does?

Also, with albinos when mixed with other traits do high contrast albinos and low contrast albinos appear different in the combination? I would assume so, as it seems to be a result of line-breeding, but was just curious.

Also, what are the sub-species of the common ball python?

    Re: Morph Questions

From all I've seen, pied whiteness is entirely random. Low-whites can throw highs and vice-versa.

Not sure about the albino question.

And there are no sub-species of ball pythons.

I agree 100% about the amount of white on a pied being random...BUT...I held a 30 minute conersation with Allan Bosch at a show and he totally disagrees. He believes the amount of white is passed along and he makes some of the nicest pieds anywhere, check out his site, almost all high white.
