Ball Python Meets Its End In an Engine Compartment
Disclaimer: Not for the squeemish.
Found these photos online I thought were most unusual and also another case of some moron letting the snake go after not wanting to care for it anymore (that would be my guess). Naturally, the poor snake gets the short end of the stick again.
Also note that title claims it to be a boa, not a BP.

Re: Ball Python Meets Its End In an Engine Compartment
How sad. I am always afraid of stray cats sitting in my engine on cold days so I always thump the hood really hard when it's cold out. I don't think that would work for a BP, though. Now I'll have to actually check under the hood for lost/abandoned BPs...

Re: Ball Python Meets Its End In an Engine Compartment
We had stray cats getting under the hood of our HMMWV's in Afghanistan so often, that we had to make it a checklist item to check the cooling fan area before starting the gun truck. Prior to that we had a couple of nasty stituations.
