One ASF female could average 12 offspring a month, so you'll need to go with 1:2. ASF's won't outgrow your 2006, and fairly soon, your other bp's. So if you end up with a few extras you can feed them off right before breeding season. Just separate the weanlings by sex to avoid creating new breeding rats before the breeding trio retire. I also got advice by mccavana that 1:2 is better for the health of your colony than a 1:1.
