My thermometer probes are currently under the substrate to measure the temp of the glass... is that wrong?
I know this got an affirmation but I would think you'd want to measure the temp where the snake sits, especially if you're using bark. I use 2-3 inches of aspen and the UTH-created temp is much warmer beneath it. I bury the cords but keep the probes on or near the top.
