Ok, guys, what's this?
You may or may not recall these photos:

Those were taken about a month ago, and they came from a rescued ball python. He's been to several vets several times, and the latest (and best) vet told me, after giving him medication, that he should be fine in three weeks. Today marks three weeks, so I went to check on him and found that he'd made another messy poop. Pretty much like the one in those photos. Here's something from tonight:

mmm, yum. So ... do I wait and see how he is in another week, or do I take him back to the vet now? The last check-up showed that he did have internal ickies but nothing too bad, so I'm honestly surprised that he's still having runny, disgusting poops.

Call the vet and email them the pictures too... at least, that's what I would do.

Re: Ok, guys, what's this?
To me, it looks like a tapeworm. I washed the black house off with water and it definitely looked tapeworm-ish when it wasn't covered in poop. He was diagnosed with tapeworms at the first vet, but the second vet thought it was a misdiagnosis. I dunno...

It looks like tapeworm to me as well. best I can tell from the pic. I would go with the above see if you can email the pic to the vet. alot of times when they run a parasite treatment on someething like that expecially that size you will see it come out when its dead. But I would want to double check that expecially since the second vet discounted that tapeworms could be an issue. If you didnt toss it you may want to throw it in a ziplock and see if the vet would like to see that as well.

How embarrassing for the little guy poor guy. Im no vet but it could be a roundworm as well. Good luck, i hope you can find a decent vet.

Not yet, no, but I will be calling tomorrow. I really hate to put this off but this is finals week so I'm stressed to the max and have no free time. I cannot miss my exams. I'm aiming for an appointment next Wednesday.
