To me, it looks like a carefully staged picture with a white backdrop and back-lighting to prevent shadows. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't give someone the benefit of the doubt, especially since there are no real prizes on the line.

Oh no im not saying its a bad picture, I love it! In the other contest he has a beardie with the same backing, and I picked it regardless. Im just saying I like my pictures more A-natural

It looks like a super cinny or super black pastel.
Considering how black it is I would say super black pastel. The super cinny has more browner tones.
