Listen Peter- no one can tell you what you ought to do; that's what 'growing up' means. Making your choices and following them through. College is not for everyone. Nuff said. College can also be attended at any time in life; I got my BS when I was 47 years old.
You need to sit down and quiet yourself (your mind) and do some introspection. Figure out your own path.
That's the only way.
