The tail is actually quite clear if you look at the direction of the scales you can see the tail is the part of the snake right below the big bend in the neck. The other think I was looking at is the Pattern right behind the head. On the little one you have a dot then what looks like a horse shoe then on the adult you have the dot but NO horse shoe. I am not saying it is definately not the same snake just Patterns don't tend to change and the patterns don't match in my honest opinion. I see it too...good eyes. Look at the black at the back of the head, the one snake has a "tab" coming off of it and the other one doesn't?
