Humidity Questions
So BP should be kept between 50-60% humidity...is it fine if there is a lot of fluxuation? My humidity stays constantly between those two numbers, but literally swings around from 50-59 throughout the day, is this ok?
Also, when do you raise the humidity for a shed, in the pink belly stage or the opaque stage?

Re: Humidity Questions
That is just fine for humidity, you just dont want it to flucuate from like 30-80 if you know what im saying. Also during a shed it also helps if you bump the humidity to like 70, this will help your python to shed more completely in one piece. you can do this by adding damp sphagnum moss to a hide or covering most of the tank top with a tamp towel.

You:How many snakes do you have?
Me: Oh, just a room full.
You:Eh, how many?
Me:A ROOM FULL.

Re: Humidity Questions
Thanks! erm...so I take it you would raise the humidity at the first signs of shedding then (aka the pink belly stage) instead of waiting till it's a little more apparent?

Re: Humidity Questions
I keep my humidity between 50-55% and all my snakes shed fine
