I use a humidifier next to the tank, and a bowl of damp sphagnum moss in the enclosure. Make sure the top of your tank is covered about 3/4, and a nice wide water bowl helps too.
This may be so for balls, but corns, the snake the OP inquired about, are fine at lower humidities such as 33%.
