You will want to keep an eye on that retained shed during the next shed cycle.

yeah, obviously not a very good one. make sure that you have the right humidity and temp levels in its enclosure so that the next shed goes easy for it.

Me: Oh, just a room full.
You:Eh, how many?
Me:A ROOM FULL.

Congrats! What a cutie!
If you do a search for stuck shed or retained shed, you'll come up with all kinds of ways to help her get rid of that!

Nice little pick up,ball pythons make one great pet.For the sheding a nice warm bath for about 20mins will slide it right off.Just to help u out more try to keep the temps up to about 90 on the hot end and 82ish on the cool side. For huminaty try to keep it up to about 50,65 and 70 is better.Though I know its hard in a tank.Well good luck with the new girl and congrats.

Re: First & new BP
Ditto that on getting that shed soaked off. You don't want to damage the skin underneath by leaving it. A warm bath will make it nice and loose and you can use a fingertip to peel it very slowly and gently off.
She's a cutie. Welcome to the club (Snake Lovers Anonymous).
